Mtaar is an art platform situated in the asian side of Istanbul (Moda, Kadikoy). Is an exhibition platform open to all artists with a project on their minds. Artists, art groups, or independent curators can easily share their projects and be shown there. Also musical band or experimental musician can find place in there.
Mtaar was extablished in 2009 by erkin goren and sevil turnaboylu
as a space to provide an exhibition platform for all forms of contemporary art. Exhibitions with or without a theme, workshops, presentations of artists, and special performances are some of the activities planned within this framework.
