Eye think is a project for a site specific installation i'm preparing for the visual art course at IUAV university in Venice held by Francesco Vezzoli. The installation consists in a series of hacked light bulb that can be suspended like floating in a dark space.The work will be exhibited in an old venetian palace called Ca' Rezzonico , in the room called Pharmacy, that was in the past a chemistry laboratory/pharmacy. That means that is full of glass props and tools, that can establish relations with my bulbs.
The aim of the work is to change the point of view of the space -that is used as part of the eighteenth century culture museum-, establish a relation between the usual function and the contemporary intervention, find a way to revitalize the whole place.
